Payment Options

SYNERGY NORTH offers many different options to allow you to make simple, on-time payments. Choose the method that is most convenient for you.

Pre-Authorized Debit

Eliminate the hassle of due dates and late payment charges. With our Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement you still receive your bill, and have it paid automatically on the due date through your chequing account. Click here to print off the form which can be emailed or faxed to our Customer Service department (, along with a void cheque. If you are unable to print off the form, contact our Customer Services department and a representative would be happy to assist you.

MYEnergy customers can also register for Pre-Authorized Debit through their online account. Login to access and submit your application through our secure online portal.

Equal Billing Plan

Our equal billing plan allows you to spread your annual electricity costs evenly through the year for easier budgeting and a more predictable monthly bill. With equal billing, you pay the same amount every month and settle up the difference in the summer months. Learn more about equal billing!

Through Your Bank

Payments can be made by telephone, ATM machine or via internet banking through your financial institution. If you are paying through your bank online, add SYNERGY NORTH as a payee and put in your twelve (12) digit account number with no hyphen in between.

Credit Card

Make a credit card payment online OR call the toll free number at 1-866-445-8941. Make sure to have a copy of your SYNERGY NORTH bill on hand. This payment option is provided by a third party called Paymentus and does have a convenience fee of 1.75%. Please note that normal processing times apply.

Cheque or Money Order

SYNERGY NORTH has two drop boxes which can be accessed 24/7 where you can place a cheque or money order in an envelope with your SYNERGY NORTH Bill. The drop box in Thunder Bay is on the Street Paul side of our building located at 34 Cumberland Street North. The drop box in Kenora is located at the front door of city hall, located at 1 Main Street South.
