Equal Billing/Payment Plans

Equal Billing Plan

Take the guesswork out of your budget. The Equal Billing Plan provides convenience for budgeting and eliminates high seasonal utility bills.

You will receive bills of the same amount for eleven months. This amount may be revised based on a mid-season review of your consumption. During July and August, all equal billing accounts will go through a settlement process and customers will be billed any outstanding balance or credited with any amount overpaid.

Conditions:

  • Your account is set up on Pre-Authorized Debit
  • You are a residential customer
  • Your account is in good standing

Customers with large balances (greater than their monthly Equal Billing amount) due will get the amount due amortised over the next eleven (11) bills. The customer can also opt to pay off the balance in order to have a lower monthly instalment the following year. Customers with large credits can choose to have a full credit cheque issued or have the credit balance worked off their future monthly bills.
