Synergy North is committed to investing in the well-being and strength of the communities we serve. Our Corporate Giving & Community Investment program provides a structured, transparent, and impact-driven approach to supporting initiatives that align with our mission, values, and strategic priorities.
Through this program, we partner with local organizations, Indigenous communities, and community groups to support projects that create meaningful, lasting impact across our service territory.
What We Look For
Applications are evaluated based on:
- Alignment with our priorities
How well the initiative aligns with Synergy North’s overall objectives and areas of focus - Community impact
The potential to create meaningful and positive outcomes for the community - Equity and inclusion
Consideration of inclusive practices and support for diverse communities - Organizational capacity
The ability to successfully deliver the proposed initiative
For sponsorships, we also consider:
- Audience and community reach
- Recognition opportunities
- Overall value and benefit

Application Process
All funding request are reviewed and approved by the Synergy North Connections Committee.
Applications are accepted during defined intake windows throughout the year as defined below:
- All applications close annually on November 30
- Submissions are reviewed after each intake window
- Applicants will receive a decision within two weeks of the application window closing
