SYNERGY NORTH is Changing How Customers are Notified of Planned Power Interruptions
Thunder Bay, ON -SYNERGY NORTH is transitioning its Planned Power Outage Interruption Notices from mail to phone. Customers are encouraged to update their personal contact information with the utility to ensure they receive Planned Power Interruption notifications affecting their neighbourhood.
The new notification system will take effect in June and will call customers with a recording detailing key information about a Planned Power Interruption prior to its occurrence. If customers miss the call a voicemail will be left. With the updated process, SYNERGY NORTH will be able to notify customers about Planned Power Outages more effectively and frequently, while putting funds back into the pockets of rate payers.
